arrive before midnight on the submission date. The Email address

Remember to replace the
symbol
with a normal @ before sending an email.
As this address is not monitored routinely please do not use it

Competition Rules

All submissions for
assignments can be prints or projected images, which
have been taken in the previous two years up to the end
of the present year, with the exception of the ‘Old
Gold’ competition which permits images taken in any year proided they have not been
used in any previous competition

- Prints must be a minimum of 7.5” x 9” or equivalent area. For colour prints professional printing will be accepted.
The prints should be mounted and may be titled on the front. The following information must be included on the back of the mount:

One of the member’s competition numbers.
- Digital images must be 1400 wide x 1050 high.
Only one of the dimensions may be reduced to allow the aspect ratio of the image to be changed. Images should be set to 300 dots per inch. The image shall be either tiff or jpeg file type and the file name should be the image title followed by one of the member’s competition numbers. The colour space shall be sRGB. The image Mode shall be RGB Colour with a colour depth of 8 bits only. There shall be no image compression. Layers flattened. Alpha Channels removed.
If the photographer does not wish the entry to have a title then the entry shall be marked ‘No Title’.
- Each member may submit a maximum of 3 prints and
3 projected images for each competition.
- Each entry shall be marked out of 20 points.
